On 9th June, Managers Helmut May and Ralf Maywald of Emunds + Staudinger and Horst Günter Hutz, Managing Director of Krings Verbau GmbH, signed a agreement that surprised the shoring world. With effect from 1st July 2004, Emunds+Staudinger took over all of the rental and sales business of its former competitor at home and abroad.

For E+S the takeover of Krings' activities means strengthening existing rental business in Germany and also generates synergies for sales in neighbouring European countries and the Middle East. The Krings warehouse bases in Germany will supplement the existing distribution system of Emunds+Staudinger for the benefit of customers.
By taking over Krings' sales staff, continuity in expert advice on the "red & yellow" products is assured. Hutz and May agree that Krings products will continue to be available to customers.
