| Dr. Bernd Bergschneider is the successor of E+S General Manager Helmut May, who is going into retirement at the end of April of this year. Bergschneider is taking over Sales and Technical business, while Ralf Maywald remains in charge of commercial matters. In addition to the management and coordination of Sales and the Technical Department, Bergschneider’s duties will focus on the ongoing refinement of the E+S and Krings product range as well as the development of cost-effective solutions for a wide range of civil engineering tasks. He wishes to place strong emphasis on goal- and service-oriented consultations for customers and on cost-effective processes on site. |
After studying civil engineering and majoring in structural engineering and foundation work/soil mechanics, Bergschneider obtained his doctor’s title with a thesis on the jetting process frequently employed in specialized civil engineering. Before his appointment as Technical Manager at E+S, Bergschneider worked as a consultant engineer in a firm of engineers for general and specialized civil engineering. His main duties include planning, invitations for bids, construction contract law, structural calculations, specialized project management and sales.
Dr. Bergschneider is married and has a son and a daughter. He and his family live in Düsseldorf.
